I was in Los Angeles last week, in the evening i decided to go for some window shopping as the weather was quite good and i didnt feel like being in the hotel.

As i travelled around, my last destination was the farmer’s market where i came across some interesting places to shop, surprisingly there were some cosmetic brands that i had not heard of before, Bath and Body Works was one of them, initially i thought of skipping, but on second though, i decided to step in….. the shop looked quite bright and colorful from outside and attracted my attention. As soon as i entered, i realized that it was crowded, it made me curious, i wanted to know more about the products, i went on different counters, learnt a bit about various products that were kept on display, tried and tested a few and finally picked up a few body lotions, washes and creams for myself, this was purely an experiment as i have always patronized another brand and i have been stuck with it from many years.

I was pleasantly surprised and amazed when i used these products, they are awesome and very skin friendly, my husband had the same view, infact to my surprise, he has never liked any other product other than our fixed brand, the very next day we went to the same shop and brought a whole range of products.

Bath and beauty products are mild in nature and have a tendency of softening the skin making it more relaxed and soothing

Jack & Hill : A beauty blog has highlighted some of the products of Bath and Body Works which primarily help in relaxation

For Christmas, Hillary’s 17-year-old son gifted me with a stuffed black sheep (he inherited his mother’s sense of humor) and a big bottle of Bath & Body Works Aromatherapy Sleep Body Wash with lavender and chamomile. My first two, ungrateful thoughts:

1) Oh, great, another bottle of freaking body wash.
2) Oh, great, lavender and chamomile. I always wanted to smell like an 85-year-old shut-in.

But I was more than pleasantly surprised when I used the wash that night before bed. I don’t know about any of the claims that the formula helps induce a restful night’s sleep, but I do know that it smells absolutely incredible. It’s nothing like the old lady-ish scent I feared, and the lavender gives it a slight masculine edge that I love. (Beauty trivia: Prince Charles wears cologne made from the lavender he grows in his gardens at Highgrove.)

I met with the PR rep that handles Bath & Body Works’ Aromatherapy line last week, and gushed to her about how much I love this fragrance. She gave me a bottle of hand soap in the same exact scent, and I have been become even more OCD about washing my hands ever since. I’m also smelling my fingers a lot, which I’m sure would look strange if there was anyone around to watch me, but since there isn’t, I will continue to be a finger sniffer.

The products of Bath and Body works are absolutely distinctive, I have personally experienced the difference in my skin texture after using it for almost one week…one has to try it to believe it.

When it comes to the line of cosmetics, Mac has always been my all time favourite, they have exclusive range of beauty and fashion cosmetics. They have largely contributed to the world of fashion with their unique products and wide range of colours in different cosmetics.

As per the article featured in Jack & Hill, Mac has come out with their latest product

I must tell you that their new Naked Honey Body Wash

is simply the most glorious thing I’ve ever used in the shower. The smell is incredible – the honey melds with the scent of narcissus, jasmine, and a bit of lavender for the slightly masculine edge that I love. My only complaint is that the scent is perhaps a bit too subtle. That said, I used it during my evening shower and woke up in the morning wondering, “Hey, why do I smell so amazing?”The entire Naked Honey collection of thirteen items includes a skin salve, a body cream, and a fragrance. I think I shall be spending some of my hard-earned ducats on a few of these products as soon as I can.

Mac is one of the most popular brands in fashion industry. With their exclusive products, they have given an entirely new overview to the beauty and fashion world and their products have become the first choice of some of the leading fashion fraternity.
